Melanopro Peel System is an effective treatment regimen to resurface, exfoliate and reduce the signs of dull, lacklustre and pigmented skin.

Melanopro is a 2-phase system. The first phase is done in clinic, where our Intensive Peeling Masque is applied within a duration of 45 minutes, and the masque can be removed at home.

The second phase is continued at home with prescribed products, including our Continuous Resurfacing Cream and Ultracalming Mist.
Results will be seen in 6 weeks.

In clinic, we package your Melanopro peel treatment with a lower level resurfacing peel treatment to prep the skin for better tolerance. We also provide ongoing follow up throughout your treatment course, and 2 complimentary LED light therapy sessions.

Some recommendations to get optimal results from your treatment and help manage pigmentation:

Wear SPF 50+ daily and practice sun safety

Incorporate a vitamin C serum into your skincare routine

Incorporate an AHA &/or BHA serum into your skincare routine (discuss in clinic for individualised advice)

Be consistent with your home skincare regime

Pigmentation will usually return eventually. Ongoing management through treatments and consistent targeted skincare can assist to maintain results longer and manage any returning pigmentation.
Melanopro is an advanced resurfacing peel system that can be left on the skin for up to 6 hours.

To increase the skins ability to tolerate the peel for the longest treatment time, we recommend prepping the skin with an Alpha Hydroxy Acid serum and/or some lower level in clinic resurfacing peel treatments in the months leading up to Melanopro. Whilst this is not absolutely necessary, it does assist the skin to tolerate the peel and homecare for you to achieve optimal results. Without prep, the skin may only tolerate the Melanopro Peel system for a lesser time, eg, 2-3 hours. Results are optimal when the skin is well prepped and with consistent compliance with home skincare regime.

How long does treatment take?
The application of Melanopro appointment will be 45 minutes in length.
Your home aftercare program is 6 weeks in length.

How long does the treatment last?
You will usually notice results within 6 weeks post your professional masque application treatment.
After an initial course of treatment, results can be maintained with home skincare and occasional in clinic treatments.

Is there any downtime?
Melanopro does not require any downtime, however it is important to use the prescribed home aftercare and sun protection after the treatment.
Swelling, redness and minor skin sensitivity may be present in the days post treatment.
You may notice your skin is dry and notice some superficial flaking or peeling within one week post your melanopro masque application.​
