Our Photofacial treatment uses IPL and BBR technology to address a variety of common skin concerns, including redness, pigmentation and overall skin rejuvenation. This treatment assists to reduce the appearance of skin irregularities, to brighten and freshen the complexion.

This treatment includes LED Light Therapy.

What's included:

Double cleanse, Full Face rejuvenation with IPL and BBR, soothing mask application, LED Light Therapy and Soothing serum application.

How long does treatment take?

Generally an appointment will be 30 minutes in length.

​

How long does the treatment last?

For best results, we generally recommend a course of 3 treatments, however the number of treatments will depend on the skin concern that is being addressed. 

After initial course of treatment, results can be maintained with home skincare and an occasional maintenance treatment (eg. 1-2 yearly).

Is there any downtime?

These treatments do not require any downtime, however with IPL Skin rejuvenation targeting pigmentation, it is normal to experience a darkening of pigment within 1-2 weeks post treatment. 

Swelling and redness may be present within the first 24 hours post treatment.

AFTERCARE

Keep the area clean and makeup free the day of treatment.

​​

Avoid exercise for the rest of the day post treatment.

​​

Do not touch or rub the treated area.

​​

Avoid facial treatments, facial waxing and invasive cosmetic procedures for 2 weeks.

​

Wear SPF and sun protection post treatment.

​

The treated area may feel itchy, swollen or inflamed for 24-48 hours post treatment, this is expected. ​
